Kai Hwang is a Presidential Chair Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shenzhen, where he heads the AIRS Research Center for AI Cloud and IoT Edge Computing. He received the Ph.D. in EECS from UC Berkeley. He has taught at the Univ. of Southern California and Purdue Univ. for many years. Dr. Hwang has published extensively. His Google Scholar citation has exceeded 19,800 times with an h-index of 61. An IEEE Life Fellow, he received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the China Computer Federation (CCF) in 2005, and the Lifetime Achievement Award, IEEE Cloud Com in 2012. Over the years, he has also served as a visiting Chair Professor at Tsinghua and Hong Kong Universities. He has performed consulting work with IBM, Intel, MIT Lincoln Lab., ITRI Japan, and INRIA France.

  Yonghong Peng is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence (Chair) and the Director of the Centre for Advanced Computational Science at the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) UK. He is steering the strategic programme of “The Future of AI” at MMU. Prior to that, Prof Peng is a Professor of Data Science and the founding director for the Centre of Research and Innovation in Data Science at the University of Sunderland UK. He is research interest includes AI and Data Science and their application to health informatics, genome and precision medicine. He is the Chair for the Big Data Task Force (BDTF) of IEEE computational intelligence society (CIS), and a member of Data Mining and Big Data Analytics Technical Committee of IEEE CIS. He is also a founding member of the Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) of IEEE Communications, and a member of Big Data Task Force of China Information Industry Association (CIIA). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transaction on Big Data, IEEE Access, and an Academic Editor of PeerJ and PeerJ Computer Science.

   Liang Wang received both the B. Eng. and M. Eng. degrees from Anhui University in 1997 and 2000 respectively, and the PhD degree from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he worked as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London, United Kingdom and Monash University, Australia, a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a lecturer at the University of Bath, United Kingdom, respectively. Currently, he is a full Professor of Hundred Talents Program at the National Lab of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P. R. China. His major research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition and computer vision. He has widely published at highly-ranked international journals such as IEEE TPAMI and IEEE TIP, and leading international conferences such as CVPR, ICCV and AAAI. He has obtained several honors and awards such as the Special Prize of the Presidential Scholarship of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Distinguished Youth of NSFC. He is a Fellow of IEEE, IAPR and CIE, as well as a member of BMVA and ACM. He is currently an associate editor of IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIP and Pattern Recognition.

   Qiguang Miao Dr. Qiguang Miao received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer application technology from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in March, 2005 and December, 2005, respectively. In 2014, he was supported by China Scholarship Council to serve as a senior visiting scholar to the Lafayette College in PA, USA. He is a professor and Ph.D. student supervisor with School of Computer Science and Technology in Xidian University. He is the dean of School of Network and Continuing Education in Xidian University. He is a member of board of CCF, the chairman of CCF Xi’an chapter, a committee member of CCF Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition. He is senior member of IEEE and the distinguished member of CCF. Dr. Qiguang Miao’s research interests include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and big data analysis. In 2012, he was supported by the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University by Ministry of Education. He has hosted and joint more than 30 projects. He is a recipient of two ministerial and provincial level awards in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He is a member of Shanxi Medical Image and data Analysis Engineering Research Center, and Secretary of YOCSEF (Taiyuan) of Shanxi Province from 2018 to 2019. The main research neighborhood is the intelligent analysis of multimodal image data, presided over two provincial and ministerial projects, and participated in the development and implementation of the medical image cloud platform system.    Zhilei Chai Zhilei Chai is a Professor at the department of computer science in Jiangnan University. He is the committee member of CCF Professional Committee of computer architecture and embedded systems. His research interest is computer architecture, especially focusing on FPGA-based computing and software/hardware co-designing. He is in charge of some research projects such as NSFC and others.
